today's look is incorporating a handful of pieces that I would consider staples in my wardrobe all into one outfit! I am a firm believer in having a bunch of key basics and mixing and matching them to create endless, classic outfits.
First, I am wearing a chambray top. I also have a button up chambray top, so you could easily switch in that style if you have it. I kind of like this top without the collar, but regardless, chambray is an easy basic to have in your wardrobe. Secondly, I am wearing a pair of good black skinny jeans. Mine, of course, are from American Eagle. I've been wearing them for ages and I know they fit and and I like the way they look on, so I don't see myself buying a different pair! Lastly, I am wearing a simple cardigan I have had for years from Target. I love the oatmeal color, and I think it pulls the whole look together.
I also wore my gold Michael Kors watch, and a current favorite pair of sandals from Target. I love the snakeskin detail, and I think they make a great statement. I love the two strap detailing, not to mention that they were under $20.
