Hey y'all!
So for today's post, I wanted to share just a few items that I have had my eye on, as either trends to watch for or just pieces you might want to incorporate into your wardrobe, too! I have been trying to focus on only adding unique pieces to my wardrobe as things that will stand out and be fun without breaking the bank, because I already have sooo many clothes. If it is unique, affordable, and not like anything else I have, then I consider -- but otherwise, I am trying to not buy as much.
1. Adidas sweatshirt. This is under the "athleisure" category and has been on trend for awhile now, but I don't think that trend is going anywhere just yet. I love the laid back but sporty vibe of this sweatshirt.
2. Fringe Skirt. I don't know why, but I am just loving suede and fringe, and this skirt has both! I think it would be a great piece to wear now with tights, but you could also transition it into the spring/summer or opt for a brown shade that is more seasonally-versatile.
3. Ruffle sweater. This is a big trend that I've noticed lately -- sweaters with ruffle sleeve detailing. I love this look, I think it is a fun and girly touch. Plus, there are tons of affordable options so that you don't have to break the bank to test out this trend.
4. Shooties. This is a weird trend name to me...but think shoe + bootie! I'm sure these have been around for quite some time, and some might not even consider them a trend because I know in western wear, shoes like this are always around. But, I have been noticing them more and more, so I picked out a few styles that I personally love (one splurge, one more affordable option). These are great because you can wear them year round, too!
5. Mirrored sunglasses. I always love picking out a cheap pair of sunglasses every now and then -- and this pair is under $10! I love the clear frames and the mirrored lenses. These sunglasses would add edge to any outfit!
6. Bodycon dresses. Lately I have been seeing people wear bodycon dresses and it is a really versatile piece to have. My favorite ways I have seen them worn are with sneakers such as Adidas Super Stars, or with fringe or suede jackets over.
