GIRLS NIGHT INSPIRATION

Hey y'all!

With Valentine's Day tomorrow (!!!) I wanted to share some last-minute inspiration with y'all on how to throw a fun night with your girlfriends if you are celebrating Galentine's Day, or if you just want to have a fun night with your besties. These treats would also be great to make with your significant other or just for fun. I love my friends because they are perfectly happy to stay home with me on the weekends, eat Chinese food, do face masks and watch movies. Sometimes you just need nights in! Here's a few recipes to spruce up your nights in and to treat yo self!

1. Oreo Cheesecake Cookies.
They are just as good (or better!) than they sound! These cookies are seriously so easy...you really can't mess them up! I love simple recipes, especially when they turn out really well. I found this recipe here originally, but I modified it just a bit for my own personal taste. Here's how I made them!

Ingredients
4 oz. cream cheese, softened (I used reduced fat)
8 tablespoons butter/margarine
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
10 Oreos, broken into pieces
Red food coloring

Beat the cream cheese and butter together, then add in the sugar and beat well. Slowly add in the flour, and then carefully fold in the Oreo pieces. This is when I added the red food coloring as well to make them a light red/pink color.

Cool the dough for 45 min-2 hours. Then, roll the balls in two-tablespoon amounts, placing them on a baking sheet. Press on them to flatten slightly. I used a sil-pat to keep them from sticking to the pan. They make for easy clean up! Bake for 10-11 minutes at 350 degrees.

They are super easy and again...delicious! And so festive for Valentine's Day. You could also make them all different colors depending on your preference!

2. Easy Fancy Popsicle Drinks.
This is another really photogenic flare you can add to your girls night. Pick up your favorite beverage -- you could use wine, champagne, juice, or even Sprite! For these photos, I used Sprite -- I pour your beverage of choice into your glasses, and then place a sugar-free Popsicle in each of the drinks. It is a pretty healthy treat and looks so cute!

What are your go-tos for girls nights? Leave a comment down below!

  1. Okay obsessed with both of these, those cookies look delicious! Plus any drink with moscato is already a favorite in my book, looks easy to make too :)
