Today I wanted to share a new concept for a blog post -- one I have never done before! Today I bring you a dressing room diaries post.
I recently went to Target to check out the release of their new line called "A New Day". As a self-proclaimed Target fanatic, I was of course super excited for this new release at my favorite retailer. This line is replacing the classic Merona brand at Target, and while I am sad to see that line go, this new line has a similar feel, but is even more exciting if you ask me!
According to Target, this line is dubbed a "versatile mix-and-match women's line" and I think it definitely lives up to this statement. There are tons of classic pieces and silhouettes, which makes it a great update to the previous Merona line. For those looking for fun work wear pieces, this line is for you! There were sooo many pieces with gorgeous, classic vibes that would be so great for the office! Some of my favorites include this pleated skirt, these tie crepe pants,this ruffle sleeve blouse, and this ponte fit & flare dress.
Another great thing about this line is the affordable outerwear available! All of these pieces are such high quality, and would be wonderful additions to your fall wardrobe. My favorite picks? This plaid coat (under $40!), this utility vest, this anorak jacket (comes in four colors!), this cropped tweed jacket, and this ruffled bomber jacket.
Aside from the work wear pieces, there are also some really cute, more casual pieces that makes this line even better because of its versatility. They could also transition into more dressier looks, perhaps paired with some of the work wear pieces I linked above! My top picks were this graphic tee, this bell sleeve top, this satin cami, this peplum tee, this chambray popover blouse, and this olive skirt.
Lastly, they also launched some new accessory items with the line that are also super cute. Some of my favorites were these leopard booties, these embroidered pumps, these bow sneakers, and these pointed low block heels. For accessories, this knit beret, this striped scarf, this mustard bag, and these fun socks.
I also went into the store and tried out some more pieces in person. Here is what I found!
Love the cut of this jacket + the embroidered touch! Also, these leggings are a total must -- I am wearing them throughout the photos!
Love this classic blouse with added touches of flare -- the applique detailing is too cute!
Love the tiered detailing and bold print on this top!
Looove this red skirt + the dramatic ruffle detail. Does run really big though!
Love the dot detailing, bow neck detail, and the color! Perfect for fall :)
I love a good shirt dress -- and this one has some fun detailing such as the pinstripe, bow front, and bell sleeves! A fun twist on a classic piece.
Can you tell I love the blue and white stripe look? Also love the floral detailing on this top!
