COLOR TREND FOR SPRING 2018

Hey y'all!

Happy Saturday!

I don't always share posts on the weekend, but I have just been feelin it lately! I go through phases where I am more or less inspired, but lately I have been feeling more inspired and so I want to shoot more and put more looks together. Its funny because blogging is one of my main hobbies, and while its a ton of work, I somehow just love working and working and doing more and more with it. Does anyone else feel that way? Sometimes I just think hard work is so satisfying.

Anyways, about today's look! I wanted to share this outfit today for a few reasons. One -- if you're still needing some inspiration for an Easter outfit, this one is so easy to recreate. I paired this lace blouse I have had for a long time with a simple colorful skirt, contrasting jewelry, and some simple slides. If I was wearing it to church, I would most likely wear heels or wedges instead of the slides because I tend to go for a dressier look, especially for Easter Sunday.

Secondly, this look is an example of a big color trend I have been seeing lately! This chartreuse color is big and I personally really love it. I have always been a fan of yellow, but now this shade is a little bit different and just as fun. I have been seeing tons of yellow and chartreause so you'll definitely want to get your hands on this color! I know a lot of people say blondes can't wear yellow, but it is actually a color I love to wear. Rules are meant to be broken, right? I personally think if you like it, you should wear it and that's pretty much the way I live my life! ha.

Anyways, I hope y'all are having a great weekend. It is going to be an awesome one for me. My family always has tons of traditions when it comes to Easter. This year we had to modify our plans just slightly, but I am still going to be spending my weekend with family which of course makes me so so happy. As I mentioned, last night I watched my cousin in her show choir performance and we are having brunch and hanging at their house -- then I am going back to around where I am from with some of my family. Lots of driving but totally worth it to me. :)

Have a great rest of your weekend and Happy Easter. He is risen y'all!
