Hey y'all!
I hope you all are having a great week -- happy halfway point! Today I wanted to share a little wedding update as I haven't talked much about the planning process as of lately!
I kind of took a little break in planning as my mom and I had gotten so much done over the summer/within the past few months. However, my to-do list is back in action and I am ready to tackle a ton more planning tasks!
I have been having fun lately with the tasks I have been working on. First off for the most exciting probably -- I received a call a few weeks ago that my dress had already arrived! I was not expecting to receive it until around Christmas or even later...so I was shocked and surprised and excited all at once! I made an appointment right away and y'all I just love it! It fit almost perfectly so I won't have to do too many alterations, which is such a blessing. My bestie + one of my MOH's went with me and it was just fun to spend some quality time with her. :) She's the greatest best friend a gal could ask for!
Aside from the dress, I have been working on designing my wedding invites. I have a lot of background in Photoshop and I kind of had a vision for what I wanted them to look like, so naturally I wanted to design them myself. I love what I have going so far and I hope to have them done very soon!
Lastly -- we also have been working on asking all of our favorite people to help out with different wedding tasks. It has been so fun to include all of our friends and family in different ways. I am so grateful for such wonderful people in our lives! One of my favorites though was asking our flower girls and ring bearer. They are just the cutest kids and I can't wait to see them all dressed up and looking so cute!
I hope you all enjoyed this little update post -- I was talking with a friend recently about the wedding planning process and while its a huge undertaking, I am really proud of my type-A self because I am not as stressed or freaked out as I thought I would be (my friend also told me she was impressed by how great I was handling everything too haha) But truthfully I am just trying to enjoy it because I will only get to experience this once in my life so I want it to be as fun and relaxing as possible!
