ABOUT/CONTACT

The girl.
My name is Kenzie Watson, and I am a 23 year old footwear buyer living in Dallas, TX. I am originally from a small town in Kansas. I graduated from Kansas State University, where I am studied Apparel Marketing with minors in Mass Communications and Business. I created this blog back in 2014 before going to college. Over the years, it has grown and changed a lot, but I love sharing my life with y'all on here! Occasionally post about my life or my faith, which is of utmost importance to me. In the summer of 2014, I dedicated my life to Christ at Sharptop Cove, a Young Life camp, and I have never been the same! I love living each day for Christ and knowing that His unending grace and mercy has saved my life for an eternity.

The Blog.
I have always had a passion for writing and designing; in high school I was an assistant editor for our school newsmagazine, and have written for various online news platforms, as well as the news outlet associated with K-State. I then decided that I wanted to channel my passions for writing, fashion, photography, and design into my own site, and thus this space was formed. It has grown and changed just like I have since I was eighteen years old when first starting a blog. I recently decided to re-brand and develop this space to better fit my personality.

One of my main focuses of this blogging space is to encourage women to be the best they can be. I believe that our ultimate joy comes from Christ, and that is my first focus! However, I also believe that a new lipstick, an outfit you feel comfortable in, a maintained home, a great workout or a yummy and wholesome meal are all things that help us focus on being the best we can be. That being said, I hope to bring all of these things to light here in this space.

I am also a firm believer in looking and feeling my best, but being consciously aware of how I spend my money and only investing in pieces that are completely necessary and that I can get a good use out of.

The Family.
Probably one of the most important things you need to know about me. I am so lucky to come from such a wonderful family who supports me to the ends of the earth, encourages me to chase my dreams, and loving me so well every step of the way. I couldn't ask for a better family! I have two brothers, Mitchell and Marshall and one sister, Makayla. They are my best friends! I also have the best mom, Kaylene, who is the strongest, most amazing woman I know! She and I are super close too. My dad recently passed away which was a major defining moment in my life -- and I miss him a lot. We always said I was his mini-me (but the girl version of course). He taught me a lot and I hope to be at a place someday to talk all about him on here. We also have a handful of dogs -- Remi and Sage live at my mom's and I couldn't love them more! With my husband, we also have a dog named Scout. Like I said, we are major dog lovers! I grew up in the Wichita, KS area my whole life and still love it to this day. I have tons of cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents that mean the world to me, too.

There's a whole lot more to know about me, so be sure to check out my posts to see more. And if you have any questions, feel free to ask! You can also find me on social media here:
