March Favorites

Hey y'all!!

It's the end of March and lets just say this year is flying by! Here are my top ten picks and favorite items/products I've been using for the month.

10. {Herbal Essence Body Envy dry shampoo, $4.99, drugstores} holy cow does this stuff come in handy!!! I recently purchased a new kind, which is somewhat monumental when I try out new products. Anyways, it is the college girl necessity. If you go a few extra days without washing your hair, no one will notice. Plus this one smells amazing! I use it to add texture to my second day curls as well. Definitely check it out.

9. {Wool floppy hat, $16.99, Target} I am totally late on the wool hat trend but I am absolutely in love with this hat! I bought it probably in February and didn't get into wearing it until this past month. Definitely check out Target's accessories in general, they are amazing this season!!

8. {Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray, $4, drugstores} this is a long-time favorite of mine that I recently repurchased this month. After I cut my hair, I knew I had to be more diligent about taking care of my hair so it wouldn't get so dead again! This is one of my favorite products ever, and I use it before I put heat on my hair.

7. {Austin, TX} In March during my spring break, I went on a big road trip with my boyfriend, Nate! It was so much fun and we got to explore Austin for a day or so. We walked along the river, ate snowcones, and enjoyed warm weather! (we also visited this really cheesy wall mural and of course had to take a picture!)

{the snow cones we had in the Zilker Metropolitan Park. it was so fun exploring a city I knew nothing about and creating fun experiences and memories! mine was ice cream flavored and it was amazing.}

6. {VSCO Cam} this app has become one of my favorite photo editing apps! I use it to edit all my instagram pictures, as well as upload them to my VSCO account. I am no hipster and my pictures aren't that amazing, but it is a really cool app that makes your pictures look amazing! my username is @makenzieallison if you want to check it out.

5. {Love Does by Bob Goff} This book has been my favorite read recently! It is a very quick read and has been nothing short of inspiring. It makes me want to live a life full of whimsy, adventure, and passion for the Lord!

{a cozy day spent with a fuzzy blanket, hot chocolate, and my favorite book this month!}
4. {Starbucks, or coffee in general} This month I finally became a gold member for Starbucks! I got a sparkly card with my name on it in the mail and it made spending a fortune on coffee way too often more worth it.

{it's official!!!!}

3. {Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Nail Polish in Petal Pusher, $3.99, Target} this nail polish has been on my nails for most of the month! I love it so much. Its the perfect milky, white, pink color and its perfect for transitioning to spring. Plus it dries super fast so its perfect for those times when you need your nails done but don't have time to wait!

2. {Striped T's from Target, $12} Y'all I have a severe obsession with stripes. I can't get enough! Target has these amazing striped boatneck 3/4 sleeved shirts and I have them in three colors...and I really want the other ones too. It's an obsession I'm telling you. But they go with so much and are totally my style. Pictured below is the pink and navy stripe, and I have also been loving the black and white stripe and the aqua and navy.

1. {John Frieda Sheer Blonde Go Blonder Spray, $10, drugstores} Ok I promise not all of the things I mention are going to be hair products...this is my last one. But since it is getting to be springtime, I want to my hair to be a little bit blonder! And to do that, I have been loving John Frieda's Sheer Blonde Go Blonder Controlled Spray. It was a bit on the pricier side in terms of drugstore hair products, but it definitely works. People always ask me if I dyed my hair...and the answer is no!

That's all my favorites for the month, hope y'all enjoyed and I'll talk to ya real soon.

xoxo,
Kenzie
