SPRING BREAK ESSENTIALS

With spring break just around the corner for all my college gals, and the warmer weather in general on the horizon, I wanted to share some essentials for Spring Break traveling! These are some things that I would consider "essentials" and crucial for me when I travel.

This year, I am road tripping to Texas with my bestie, Shelby! I am so excited -- we are going to stop in Oklahoma City, Waco, and Dallas to do some sight-seeing and have a bestie bonding trip. I tried to keep this post travel-necessities rather than just beach necessities, since I know I am not headed to the beach this year. Keep reading for all the details!

Comfy clothes.
This is the first must in my opinion! Nothing is more essential than having comfy clothes to wear whether you're sitting in the car for hours, or in an airport for the day. My go-to picks are a t-shirt dress, fun sneakers, and a cardigan to throw over because I am always cold. I also like to grab a lightweight scarf to add some extra layers as well. Lastly, I always reach for some slip on sneakers that are comfy but also practical!

Snacks.
This is another game-changer for me...I have to have snacks at all times! My favorite options are LaraBars, fruit, pretzels, almonds, etc. I find that when I am traveling, I am always hungry. Usually out of boredom, so I like to make sure my snacks are healthy!

Entertainment.
For my road trip, I don't think I will get bored since its with my friend and our drives are not all that far. But, I will say I love to have a good book, my iPad, and some headphones for traveling. I like reading, listening to music, and playing games on my iPad to help pass the time. I'm still weirdly into playing 2048, does anyone else remember the obsession with that game forever ago? I only have it downloaded on my iPad so I play it off there sometimes!

Packing essentials.
I am going to have a whole post up soon with my packing tips/essentials, but I like to keep it simple with a duffel and a tote bag. I am working on not being an overpacker, but its just such a struggle for me! I linked a few cute luggage options.

Beauty.
I also like to keep it simple when it comes to makeup because somehow traveling always makes me feel like I need to wash my face over and over! I usually go for a light concealer, mascara, blush, and I always keep some makeup wipes in my bag. Then, once I reach my destination, I can touch up and put on my full look without feeling gross while traveling. I will have a whole post on my favorite lightweight products coming soon!

I hope you all enjoyed this post! Lately I've had the travel bug, so I can't wait for Spring Break. Do you have any travel plans coming up? Leave a comment down below!
