5 PAIRS OF BOOTS YOU NEED FOR FALL

Hey y'all!
Today I wanted to share a roundup + explanation of my favorite/must have boot types for fall. I tried to keep them more or less staple items, but I did mention a few trends if you want to branch out and try something new! Of course I could go on and on about boots/fall shoes...so this is definitely not an all-inclusive list ;) Be sure to leave a comment down below telling me what your favorite/must have boots are too!

1. Suede booties.
I think a classic, heeled suede bootie is a must for every gal's fall wardrobe. I love suede for fall, and having a bit of a heel especially if you are shorter like me is always a plus! These can go with anything from skirts to dresses to jeans so they are probably your most versatile pair. I love how they look styled in this post.

2. Velvet booties + applique
Velvet booties hit the masses last season, but I think they will be sticking around this season. I personally think it is a fun touch, and a unique way to add a new texture into your outfit. I styled these last season here with just a simple outfit, but I also love the applique/embroidered detailing I have been seeing in combination with velvet booties as of lately. You can shop my favorite picks of all the booties I mention down below!

3. Over the knee boots.
I think these are going to be a must-have for every fall wardrobe again this season. I snagged a pair of black over the knee boots last season, and I loved wearing them. I am so excited to pull them out again this season. If you haven't snagged yourself a pair you definitely need to get your hands on them. The best part is that now there are tons of affordable options if you're looking to test the waters on this one! You can check out the full post from my look from last fall/winter here.

4. Cutout booties.
I think I have expressed my love for this trend for the fall/winter already, but in case you haven't seen my mass amounts of posts with cutout booties for the fall, you need to snag this trend, too! I love how fun these booties are, and such a great spin on a classic ankle bootie. They are also great for transitioning because your feet won't be dying in winter boots ;) Check out how I styled them here, here, and here.

5. Cowboy boots.
This is probably my opinion, but in the fall is when I wear my cowboy boots the most! Fall means football games and football games means I am wearing my boots about once a week ;) investing in a great pair of cowboy boots was a game changer once I came to college. I also think they are cute to wear on any occasion, too! I styled them here if you want to see the full post!

I hope you all enjoyed this post and found it helpful as you prep your wardrobe for fall! I think we are finally experiencing some cooler temperatures so fingers crossed fall arrives soon :)
