BLACK ROUCHED DRESS

Hey y'all!

Happy Tuesday!

Today I wanted to share an affordable, high quality LBD with y'all! This precious dress is under $60 and I think it is so flattering. I love the rouching down the front -- I think that is what makes it so flattering for anyone. This dress also comes in so many colors, if you prefer a fun color, or just fall in love with it like I did, you can snag it in so many different colors.

I paired the dress with my favorite espadrille flatform sandals that I loooved last season. The best news? They are back for this spring in stock! They are under $30 and y'all gotta have them too. I love the espadrille touch -- so fun and summery. I also love flatforms because they are so comfy, but still give you the added height. I could wear these all day and not get tired!

This outfit is the perfect example of a big goal of mine lately. I have been feeling like I spend way too much on clothes and I want to make sure my wardrobe is still fun, but something that is extremely versatile through seasons and different occaisions. This dress is the perfect piece because it is still relatively affordable, but is such good quality that it will last me seasons to come. It is also easy to dress up or down, and I could get so much use out of it. Not to mention it is black, so you  can easily swap accessories or shoes to create new looks. I want to add pieces like that to my wardrobe as I prepare to be a 'grown up' if you know what I mean ;) I am also in a class in school that is about the sustainabiltiy of the apparel and textile industry...and it has made me feel guilty/more conscious about my clothing consumption.

I hope you all are having a great start to your week. I have a busy week with a test tomorrow so I am going to be studying a lot today, but y'all the weeks are just flying by. Each week the wedding planning site I use sends me an update with a countdown to the wedding -- we are now at 80 days. Not only does that countdown get more and more real for the wedding, but it also gets more and more real for graduation and the end of my time in college! I can't believe it, honestly!

Thanks for checking out this post! Talk to y'all tomorrow!:)
