JULY FAVORITES

I'm a few days late to the game but I thought I would share with y'all some of my July favorites! August is quickly going by -- so crazy!

I saw a picture going around Instagram that said today is August, which means its almost September which means it will be 2019 tomorrow which is honestly so true about how I feel like life is moving so quickly!

My favorites list for this month is pretty random but I hope you enjoy!

My hair extensions. I bought these for my wedding and then I didn't use them for much else until this month. There is a bit of a learning curve on putting them in, but now I have a solid routine and I found how I like to wear them on a daily basis. It adds so much fullness to my hair which I love! I am also experimenting on using them with braids and other styles so I will keep you all posted on how that goes. I have a post in the works on how I use them daily in more detail too :)

Neck/hair scarves. These have been a big trend for awhile and I'm happy they are still cool because I just love them! I have been wearing them around my neck, but also in my hair -- ponytails, braids, around my head...they really dress up a simple hairstyle or make your dirty hair less noticeable (#realtalk). You can see in the photos above that I really do love them!

Trader Joes. I feel like I am always talking about Trader Joes in my Instagram stories/posts and on here...but its just awesome. I love trying out new fun things to cook and honestly, cooking full on elaborate meals just doesn't happen when Nate and I get home from work every night. We've found some fun things from Trader Joes that are healthy, easy and definitely staples in our pantry/fridge/freezer!

Utility jacket. I have been wearing this utility jacket non-stop. I think the color olive green should just go ahead and be a favorite of mine, because I have been gravitating towards anything and everything olive colored. However, this jacket in particular is my favorite. I updated my wardrobe because my other jacket had been around since early high school and didn't look so good anymore. Its perfect for work and church and places that are always cold, even in the summer time. Its a great jacket without looking silly for wearing a jacket in the summer. It looks great over dresses, or with jeans and a t-shirt and all things in between!

Designer dupe slide sandals. These guys have been major favorites of mine -- a $12 dupe for designer sandals...I'm here for it! They go with everything and also are Prime shipping eligible...major wins.

I hope you all enjoyed this little post! Thanks for checking it out!
