BEST PLACES TO BUY SHORTS

Today I wanted to share my tips on how to find shorts that are affordable, modest, and still cute! I think this is one of the biggest struggles for me in the warmer months because I am always looking for a pair that meets all those criteria. There is a time and place for denim cutoffs but I definitely like having more modest pairs for an everyday basis.

First, let me share some of my favorite retailers to shop at! I love Old Navy, Target, H&M, and J.Crew. I love Old Navy and Target because they are super affordable and usually have a ton of options. J.Crew has great simple pairs that are timeless, but with a slightly higher price tag -- definitely good if you're looking for a pair you'll wear season after season. H&M is a new place I have been loving lately, they have lots of styles and some that are only $10! I linked lots of examples in the widget above but they are also pictured down below for reference!

I also tend to just wear/repurchase the same style. For example, I love the boyfriend style from Old Navy -- I am rewearing that pair this season and will buy another pair when I decide the one I have is too worn out. I also know that the fit of J.Crew is perfect for me, so I like knowing I can go back to those as well. Loft also makes great shorts, they just run too big for me so I have a harder time finding ones that fit there. But, they make really modest pairs and they usually have great sales! The key is just knowing which ones fit you well and sticking with them :) I would suggest Old Navy first because they are always having sales and you can have them easily shipped to your house without having to go to a million different stores to try them all on.
