DIY PAINTED PUMPKINS FOR FALL

Hey y'all!

Today I wanted to share a fun little DIY project I did over the weekend. I wanted to add a little touch of fall to our house, but I really like the bright/colorful decorations I have going right now, too. I didn't want to swap everything out for new fall colors. So, enter the DIY project I thought of!

I picked up these pumpkins from Target this weekend. You could also totally use real pumpkins, but I wanted them to last awhile so I got fake ones (also I can use them again next year!) These were in the dollar section, so only $1 a pumpkin.

I love this idea because you can paint them literally any color you want. And, you could repaint next year if you decide you want to do different colors. I bought paint to match the pillows and decor in our living/dining room but you could do literally anything!

Next I just painted away! It took several coats to cover the darker colored pumpkins, but I think they turned out really cute. I love fall so much but I also love that I can keep my house decorated mostly the same with the bright and fun colors that I love.

I added some to our TV stand with some greenery and candles. I think it looks so cute! I also have some on my dining table, but haven't fully decided if I want to add some more to our table. To be determined!

Have you decorated for fall? What are your favorite touches to add to your home? Leave a comment down below and be sure to let me know if you enjoy DIY posts!
