5 Fall Styles to Try

Hey y'all!

Probably what I'm most excited for about fall is a new season, and a chance to try out some new styles and looks. I'm out of inspiration for the warm weather, I'm ready for some changes! Here are some of the things I'm most excited to wear in the upcoming months.

1. Camel. I don't know why, but I am just loving this color for the fall this year! It's not a new trend by any means, but something about the color is exciting. I recently bought this blazer from Target and I can't wait to wear it! It's the perfect piece to add to my wardrobe.

2. Boot-cut jeans. This trend is one that will definitely not be everyone's cup of tea. I was inspired by an outfit of the day I saw on Instagram in which the girl was wearing boot-cut jeans, and for some reason, I decided I needed them too. Recently, I purchased this pair of jeans from Old Navy -- for $15! I love the fit of Old Navy jeans surprisingly, and I think they look really great on. I think now, skinny jeans are not the only style of jeans you can wear and I'm excited to try them out!

3. Leather jacket. Earlier this month, I was going through all of my fall clothes to prepare what to take to school to keep in storage and what to leave behind/give away. I stumbled across a garment that I had purchased years ago in high school -- my leather jacket. I decided to bring it to school, and for whatever reason, it is one of the things I'm most looking forward to wearing! I think this little bit of edgy-ness will be really fun to incorporate into my style, and though it started as a trendy piece, I think a leather jacket could be a staple in anyone's wardrobe. 4. Emerald green. Last year, I purchased a pair of jeans from Gap, and they have been my go-to for the fall/winter seasons. I think this color is almost a neutral and definitely a staple for any wardrobe this season. Click here for a similar pair of jeans!

5. D'orsay flats. This is another trend I've seen recently that I can't wait to hop on board for! The D'orsay flat is a pair of shoes that expose your foot and almost have a cut-out on the side. I think it is a really unique look and would be really fun while it's not too cold out! My favorite pair (and the ones that have been sitting in my shopping cart online for weeks...oops) are by Steve Madden and can be found here!

Thanks for reading and happy fall!
xoxo,
Kenzie
