Coffee Date #2

Hey y'all!

I wanted to continue the tradition I started last month and share a monthly life update post. I think it is a fun way to document what is going on in my life and share with y'all more about me & my life! So, grab a cup of coffee and read on for some of the highlights of the past month.

1. Zac Brown Band Concert.

Last weekend, Zac Brown Band along with several other artists played at our college stadium, which was so fun. I went with Nate and we ate out for dinner which we don't do very often, so it was just an all-around great night. That was the second time I had seen them, so it was that much better! They are amazing live. :)

2. Vlogging.

I've had a YouTube channel forever, and on and off made videos on there. However, I wanted to get back into doing that -- so I posted my first one recently! It was a vlog about my past Friday, where I went healthy grocery shopping, cooked a vegan meal, went to Starbucks for Pumpkin Spice, and more. Click here to watch that vlog if you haven't seen it already! And, if you have any video ideas you would like to see, leave them in a comment down below!

3. Mom/Dot reveal.

So for my sorority, each freshman is given a "mom" in the house -- a sophomore. Since I am a junior, my dottie became a mom and got her own dot. It was so fun having reveal the other night, and I'm excited to welcome Kiel to the family :)

4. Dying my hair.

I have always been mildly obsessed with the white blonde hair that Aspyn Ovard has...she has always been one of my favorite YouTubers. I had been debating dying my hair like that, and last weekend my roommate did it for me! Its not quite as light as Aspyn's, but I still love it, but it is a pretty drastic change for me! You might have noticed from my recent posts/instas ;)

5. Great Devos.

The past couple of weeks for my small group, we have been reading the books of Ruth and Esther. They are both such great stories of the Lord working through an individual person in a big way. Both are great reads, even if you've read them over and over like I have. My biggest takeaways -- there is freedom in trusting a sovereign God; His hand of rescue uses all of our life moments (big, small, confusing, terrifying) as pieces to our rescue story. I recommend the "She Reads Truth" devotionals because they give great insight and breakdown into the applications behind the passages!

That's about all for today -- I hope you all enjoyed. Thanks as always for reading and I will talk to y'all in Monday's post!
