FLASHBACK FRIDAY: FAVORITE SUMMER LOOKS

Hey y'all!

Happy Friday! Today I am sharing four flashback looks from last summer -- the ones that were my top looks I wore on the blog in the past! I also included some updated shop links if you want to recreate the look yourself!

1. Rust + turquoise.

I am all about unique color combinations, and this look was one of my favorites from the summer. I also love the white denim, and having it in skirt form is unique and makes a statement. I also of course love bell sleeves, and this top is so fun and perfect for summer -- whether that be a country concert, dinner out, or just a girls night -- this top is too cute! I linked similar pieces below. Read the full post here.

2. Floral Chiffon Dress.

I love chiffon + floral -- and this dress is perfect for spring/summer! I love the light and bright colors. This look would be perfect for spring/summer weddings and I think the cut of this dress is so flattering. Read the original post here!

3. DIY Pom Pom Hat

I love a good DIY project, and this one was one that I did last summer for under $15 total! It was such an affordable project, and sooo fun for summer. If you're headed somewhere tropical, or just to the pool, check out the post on how to get this look for yourself! I also linked some similar pieces below if you aren't into the DIY projects ;)

4. Embroidery + Pink Detail

Embroidery is always a favorite of mine and this dress was a steal that I picked up last season. Luckily, we are still flooded with dresses with beautiful embroidered detailing, and I think I might be wearing this dress for a Cinco de Mayo party tonight ;) I love the pop of pink from this look, and y'all probably know I am always about that pop of color! Original post can be found here!

5. White Midi Skirt

I love that midi lengths are still in -- I was really hesitant at first but I actually really love them, even though I am shorter! I usually have to get them hemmed because midi lengths are usually somewhere near my ankles, but I think they can be really feminine and flattering. This look is super easy to recreate, which is one thing I love about it! Original post here.

I hope you all enjoyed this little throwback post! I love getting to look back on what I did in previous seasons and see my style and blogging skills improve (sometimes drastically if you go really far back!) I am so excited for summer and can't wait to be wearing looks like these all the time!

Hope y'all have a great weekend. I am really excited for the weekend -- I am going to brunch with my roomies tomorrow morning, and then making a short trip home to look at the barn Nate and I are planning to get married at. Follow along for details of my weekend on Snapchat (klasskenzieblog) because I am always updating there! Talk to you in my next post!
