3 WARDROBE ESSENTIALS EVERY GIRL NEEDS

Hey y'all!

Today I wanted to share this look with y'all that is so simple and if you're ever unsure of what to wear-- this would be a great go-to to always keep in your back pocket! I want to share three staple pieces I think everyone should have in their wardrobe and then how to take this look to recreate over and over for a versatile yet still cute look.

The first wardrobe essential is a white button up. I snagged this one for under $25 -- so even a great basic doesn't have to be overly expensive if you don't want to break the bank. I am always replacing these because I either spill stuff on them or they just get worn so much that it just needs to happen. You can instantly dress up a look with this blouse, or wear it more casually like I did here! It can be worn to work, and then transitioned into a more casual look, too. Its just a great piece to have. I have even worn mine as a coverup to the beach.

The second must-have staple is a pair of nude pump. I have a patent pair, but I really love this suede version. Suede is a year-round fabric these days, so don't be afraid to wear them non-stop. They can instantly add a bold touch to any look. I think everyone can agree that wearing heels just elevates your look and your confidence, and who doesn't love that?!

The last essential piece is a great pair of jeans you like. This can be hard, but once you find them, buy like four pairs so you'll always have them! I have been loving straight fit jeans lately like the pair I am wearing here. They fit just a bit looser than skinny jeans and aren't tight at the ankle. This pair is a bit trendier with a two-tone wash but you can easily just do something that is just one wash!

The best thing about having a simple outfit like this is that you can pair accessories to suit your mood or vibe for the look. Here, I just added a leopard print clutch, a classic pair of sunglasses, and it was classic enough but still fun with the added print. You can easily add a bright bag, statement earrings, and bold sunnies to give more of a statement, too!

I hope you all enjoyed this tip on how to style some pieces you probably already have in a new way. What are some of the basics you like to always have in your wardrobe? Leave a comment down below!

  1. As always, you look amazing! This outfit really pops on you, even though it's made from basics. My go-to basics include a green knee-length tank dress. It's modest enough (and the right fabric) to wear to work in warm weather, either with a scarf or a jacket. But it's casual enough to wear with summer flats and be a great off-duty look for me. :-)
Looking forward to seeing all your upcoming spring/summer looks!
