SPRING BREAK ESSENTIALS

Hey y'all!

Happy Monday!! First off, I want to wish y'all all the best for this week. Grab some coffee and make today the best! I am looking forward to this week -- I don't have too much on my plate, and I had a great weekend as my family was in town Saturday and I loved getting to spend time with them.

Secondly, I want to say sorry for my absent presence on the blog this month. I don't really know what got into me, but I was so busy and between work, school, wedding...I just didn't get posts up. There really isn't much of an excuse but I am feeling motivated and inspired once again, and I hope to not do that again!

I thought a great way to ease back into my blogging routine is sharing a round up of spring products that would be perfect for spring break. I am just a few weeks away from my spring break, but I know a lot of people have them the week prior to mine, so I thought I would get this out now in case you are headed somewhere fun in the next few weeks :) I am not going any where tropical, but I have a couple wedding showers and some planning to do over my break, so I am still looking forward to it. It will also be my last 'break' spent at home, which is weird to think about!

1. Loafers. Y'all these white loafers are going to be the must have shoe for the spring. I love that the iconic black shoe is getting a springy update! I snagged these and can't wait to wear them all spring and summer. They can be worn with jeans or pants to work, but also with shorts, dresses, etc. I love them paired with white jeans especially!
2. Blush earrings. Ok, but statement earring girl here! So of course I loved this summery pair. I can never get enough blush!
3. Cutoff denim. Definitely a spring break/spring/summer in general staple! I love a good pair of cutoffs. I am going to have an entire post dedicated to finding great denim shorts that fit well so stay tuned for that!
4. Fit and flare dress. This is a major fav of mine and I think I am going to have to order it for spring/summer. I love the subtle stripes and of course the under $20 price tag. Its just an all around winner in my opinion!
5. One shoulder swimmie. I got this swimmie last year and loved it to pieces. I am so glad its back this season! I love the off the shoulder detail and of course black looks great on everyone. Plus this one is under $45 so a great affordable option.
6. Pom-pom coverup. This is too cute to pass up! I love pom poms and I think the detailing on this coverup is so cute. I think it would look precious on anyone headed to a tropical getaway in the coming months!
7. Tropical print dress. Speaking of tropical....y'all I am obsessed with anything and everything tropical printed. Pillows, dresses, tops, anything and everything! This dress is cute because it is a subtle take on the bold print. Plus its a good price for a dress you can wear all summer long to always feel like you're on vacation!
8. Straw hat. I think any beach trip, or pool session is not complete without a cute straw hat. I love this one -- the black bow detail is simple and classic and can be worn with lots of different outfits. You'll definitely want to snag one, not only to block the sun from your face and keep your skin healthy, but also for the cute factor. Its a win-win!
9. Espadrille slides. I don't know what my must have shoe is for this season because I am such a shoe gal, but these just might be them! I love the animal print, and the espadrille trend is going to be big once again this season. I also love that they are slides -- another key trend for shoes this year. Plus, they are under $25 so not too expensive either!
10. Pink sweater. This would be another great spring beach essential. I love pairing sweaters/sweatshirts/long-sleeve tops with shorts when the weather is still in between seasons. I think its cute and cozy! This one is under $20 so super affordable and the blush color is great for the transitioning seasons!
11. Bold sunnies. I love these sunnies and I think they are a great staple to pick up for the spring/summer. They are only $14 so not a huge expense, and I always love wearing a bold pair of sunglasses to compliment any outfit. You can make a statement by wearing an interesting accessory like these while wearing a simple tee and your favorite cutoff shorts. It's an easy way to add interest to your outfit!
12. Sun print straw bag. This one is a bit pricier, but I think it is such a fun piece to add to your spring/summer wardrobe. I recently snagged this one, and I feel like it will be a staple all spring/summer long and I also can't wait to bring it on the honeymoon with me! You can wear it with the sun print facing out, or if you aren't feeling it that day, you can flip it around so just the straw side is showing. I think its a great summer piece!

I hope you all enjoyed this post! Thanks so much for reading and sticking by the blog in my absence. Can't wait to share more content this spring!
