FRIDAY FRIVOLITIES #2

Second off...hey y'all :) Welcome to another blog post!

I am SO glad it is Friday. Beyond grateful. This week has been really busy and stressful -- classes are starting to wind down/it seems like all my professors are trying to squeeze in that last little bit a lot of work before the end of the semester. The senioritis is even more real in college than it was in high school. I honestly think about the fact that I am planning a wedding, working, going to school and blogging....sometimes it feels like I bite off more than I can chew! This week is an example of that -- sometimes I get really anxious and this week was one of those times. I can't always do much about it besides just taking deep breaths and trying to power through, taking each day just a little bit at a time. I talked about this on my Instagram the other day and I feel like having these real talks is good because I know other people have to feel the same way. Life is always hectic and I'm sure you can relate to having a lot to do in a particular week. If you're feeling that way or just need some general encouragement, I have been reading Psalms 46:1-3,7 a lot the past few days.

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains should slip into the heart of the sea; though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our stronghold."

I just love that verse! If you're feeling stressed, don't forget to run to God, and despite anything that happens He's in control. There is no greater peace than that!

In other news, today I wanted to share a round up of a few really fun pieces I have been eyeing. I started this Friday Frivolities series and it has been so fun looking all week to share the cutest new arrivals I can possibly find to tell y'all about. Sometimes it is hard to not get caught up in buying everything that catches my eye, but I love still getting to share trendy pieces with y'all in this way.
