Today I had a wonderful opportunity! This morning, I woke up at 6:15 and hopped in the car with my mother and we drove to my grandparents' house. After missing our exit randomly due to thick fog (and not my mother's directionally challenged nature), we arrived and I shared a cup of coffee before heading out with my grandparents' and mother to a local orchard. We spent probably around an hour at this orchard, picking peaches and apples. We filled a few boxes full of peaches and several of apples. It was just a lovely morning. It has been unusually cool where I live the past week or so and it was overcast today. I wore my favorite Patagonia fleece for most of the morning, which was a graduation present and I never would have thought I would get to wear it until the fall!
(Here I am posing with my box of peaches I picked! Can you spot my striped t-shirt from my last blog post?! I told you I'm obsessed. Also, on a side note, I'm loving my Chacos lately!)
(I just think the colors in the orchard were just beautiful! There were hundreds of trees lining the place filled with peaches. Also, notice how perfect and beautiful the fruit is, just saying!) Anyways, I had a fabulous morning. In just a few hours, I head off to YoungLife camp for a week, so expect a blog post in a week about my expirences! xoxo, Kenzie
