Hey y'all!
For today's post I wanted to do a post sharing some tips on how to get the most out of your wardrobe. I like to emphasize that while shopping and buying new things is fun, using what you already have in different ways is another way to maximize your wardrobe and options!
I think most girls can say that they have been a bridesmaid a time or two in weddings, and as I am getting older and nearing graduation, I know the time will come soon when more and more people are getting married! With that being said, I'm sure you have dresses leftover from these formal events that inevitibly just end up sitting in the back of your closet. I wanted to find a way to re-wear one I wore last summer and share my tips with y'all!
First off, I definitely had a great experience and this dress is beautiful and it honestly wasn't hard to re-wear. However, you might have to get more creative with alterations if you weren't as lucky! But for me, it was all about the accessories and the pieces I added to the dress. Usually you go conservative for weddings so you don't upstage the bride. But, I found the best way to make this dress look less bridesmaid-y and more me was to accessorize in ways that I probably normally would!
I added some statement earrings, a sparkly beaded bag, and my favorite part -- the shoes! I wouldn't have worn all of those things as a bridesmaid but by adding a bunch of statement pieces into the look, it makes it way more "me"! Try adding some of your favorite pieces, or a few bolder pieces to your look to change it up.
I hope you all enjoyed this post! If you have any other requests/topics you would like me to specifically write about, be sure to let me know! :)
