FRIDAY FINDS: WHAT I'M SHOPPING FOR FALL

Hey y'all!

Happy Friday! Hope you all have had a great week. I have been busy with school starting and trying to settle back into a routine. It's always an adjustment trying to get life back in order at the start of each semester! My classes so far seem to be pretty good/interesting, and I can't believe it is my senior year. I am already making plans to make sure that it is memorable, fun, and the best year ever!

I wanted to share a post with y'all about some things that I have had my eye on lately -- and some super fun pieces for fall you might be interested in as well! I have been watching and researching some more trends to share with y'all so let me just explain the items I have my eye on!

1. Floral kimono. Kimonos are a big trend this season and I'm glad they are making a revisit! They are so fun and I am always looking for an excuse to layer up. I love this longer styled, floral one! My favorite way to style them? With a simple peplum or lace-trimmed cami underneath for a simple look!

2. Culotte jumper. This jumper is my biggest style crush. Funny story on how I found this beauty...I was a recruitment guide for sorority recruitment this year, so I got to hang out with all the new girls going through the chapters. I saw a girl wearing this and I just fell in love! I love the culotte trend, and this color would be perfect for transitioning into fall. I could see it now with a chunky sweater over or a floppy hat to make it more fall appropriate later!

3. Velvet pillow. I had to include some home décor because I am just really into that these days! These pillow covers are under $10 (such a steal) and the velvet is just beautiful. They also come in tons of other colors so you are bound to find one to match your aesthetic/design schemes! I have been itching to purchase some new home décor items so these might just be on order soon!

4. Buffalo Plaid hat. This is the major steal for today's post -- it is currently on sale for under $13! I just might have to snag this one up for sure. I love this fun twist on a super casual baseball cap. The fun print helps to dress it up and would look cute with a flowy sweater and cool sneakers for a laid back casual vibe!

5. Brocade booties. Another big trend this season is brocade. I've seen jackets, hats, bags -- but these booties are what caught my eye! I love the neutral colors -- that makes them so much more wearable, and the higher ankle cut is another trend from last season that is going to be around still. The floral is subtle but still beautiful and these are under $40!

6. Stripe Pullover. Ok so this one is probably not what you would consider a trend bc its just loungewear, but I purchased one of these sweatshirts over the summer and I have been living in it. They are so soft and cozy and perfect for hanging out at home or just being lazy. Even though its warm out, my house is always freezing so I am always looking to layer! These are a splurge (I got mine on sale) but I honestly think they are so worth it because of how cozy they are!

I hope you all enjoyed this post! Be sure to tell me what you have your eye on lately in a comment down below. I hope y'all have a wonderful Friday and a great weekend. I am headed home this weekend -- Nate and I have some wedding tasks to take care of :) I am excited to see my dogs and my family so it should be a good time!

"No power in the sky above or in the earth below -- indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:39

  3. After a short time of filling out applications, I got tired of it and just looked up the city's business directory and started calling. I didn't get very far down the list before I was asked to come in for an interview. www.couponsdealsnow.com
