#WEDDINGWEDNESDAY: ASKING MY BRIDESMAIDS

Hey y'all!

Happy Wednesday and congrats on making it to the halfway point for the week! The best part is...this weekend is a three day weekend (praise hands emoji!!!!) I hope you all have fun or at least relaxing plans...I am going hiking in Colorado with a big group of friends which should be a blast!

As for today's post, I wanted to share with y'all how I asked my besties to be my bridesmaids. I of course want to document all the fun times of wedding planning and this season of life, so of course I had to share this, too!

We are definitely having a bigger wedding party, but I couldn't imagine it any other way. The beauty of weddings these days is that you can pretty much do whatever you want, and I think as long as you as a bride are happy with the decisions that's really all that matters. So a big wedding party it is!

I asked several of my cousins -- Lauren, Lindsey, Leah, Anna, and Julia, as well as my sister, Makayla, and my two best friends, Shelby and Carolina. I planted little succulents into matching jars and made these cute tags that said "Will you grow along side me in this journey" and gave each one a note explaining why I wanted them to stand next to me on my big day!

These small details and the little creative pieces are my favorite part of planning this wedding, besides getting to share the fun moments with special people like these!

I hope you all enjoyed this post and thanks so much for reading  and following me in my wedding journey. :)

"For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don't use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love." Galatians 5:13

  1. I absolutely love the idea of the succulent! Will definitely have to remember that! Also, I totally agree about having a large wedding party. It just makes it so much fun!
