MY BRIDALS + WHY YOU SHOULD TAKE THEM

Hey y'all!

Welcome to another wedding blog post -- hope y'all aren't getting tired of all the wedding content but I just want to share all the tips and advice I received and realized for y'all in case you are wedding planning yourself!

Today I wanted to share my bridal photos, but also tell y'all about why you should take bridal photos if you haven't already planned to. When I was first wedding planning, that was not something that was on my radar at all. In fact, I thought I didn't want to do them at all! However, after I met with my photographer, I realized that they were actually a great idea.

First off, it will help alleviate a lot of stress you might feel on your wedding day. To me, photos were one of the most important things I wanted to go smoothly on the day of our wedding. By taking all of these photos ahead of time, I didn't have to plan as much time the day of to take photos. Which I'm so glad, because it was so hot out the day of our wedding!

They will also give you a great chance to make sure your hair and makeup is just what you want and that it looks good in photos. We made a few adjustments for my hair but I still love it here in these photos. We also were able to test run our flowers and make changes to those because you don't really know how it all looks until its actually put together.

It was also a great way to just feel special, like a bride! The day we took these photos, it all just hit me that I was getting married. I felt like a bride, which is a great feeling to have and feel so special before the wedding.

Lastly, my grandma had been to a wedding prior to mine, and she saw that they had a single bridal portrait displayed as part of the wedding decor, and she loved it! We thought it was a cute idea, so we had one printed on a canvas and displayed it as guests walked into the venue. It was really neat and it was fun to have those photos ahead of time!

I hope you all found this post helpful! Let me know if you have any other wedding tip posts you would like to see!
